Polishing and Pre-Treatment
Polishing and Line Graining
We have a highly trained staff of polishers that have countless years of experience. Polishing is used commonly before plating to give an even brighter finish and can also be used to remove sharp edges and imperfections of the raw material. Line-graining finish leaves parts with a directional line pattern using coated abrasives. Improving surface finish and aesthetics.
Bead Blasting
Propelling a stream of abrasive material against a surface under high pressure to smooth a rough surface, roughen a smooth surface, shape a surface, or remove surface contaminants.
Tumbling puts your parts through a machine that uses friction and a ceramic media to leave your parts free of any burrs from machining, radiused edges for safe handling, and a clean prepped surface for plating.

Masking
Masking is a process in which holes, threads, surfaces, grooves, etc… are masked or shielded from anodizing, plating or any other metal finishing by using protective coatings, tapes, plugs or any means to get the desired outcome or for engineering purpose.
